Common Core Math–A Deeper Look.

Common Core Math is a lot of Word Problems and Real World Problems. The long wording has to be stripped down to look at what is really being asked.

Once words turned into correct mathematical symbols & correct methods of solving problems, we on the move toward solutions with expediency.

Our children are faced with Common Core Math. We must as parents & adults go in on it and get to the real deal, making Math the Beautiful & Powerful Subject that it is…A Builder, Producer & Manufacture Tool.

Common Core Math presentation is long & boring. That’s for sure. The children are almost forced to do the math this way. Sometimes, they get points knocked off for doing math the most proficient & economical way.

The Youth must have defenders for right. There are numerous ways to approach problems & come up with solutions. Parents & Adults must stand firm on what’s right.

The teachers and administrators are, in many ways, locked into the writers of Common Core Books & Tests. What do I mean by that? The Administration tell the Teachers you are going to use these long winded, boring books. Then, they bring in so-called “Math Experts” on Common Core Math Methods. Never mind all the successful years a math teacher might have with a proven track record.

The Common Core Math Books are very expensive for parents. Many of the books don’t even have a answer key in the back. You have to buy that separate. More money.

It is becoming more difficult for parents to even help their children with math homework, based on what they used to learning, back in the day.

Once parents and adults really look at the problems and get a feel of the Common Core Math, they can break it down in old school ways. But, it takes work on the parents and adults part as well.
