I, like many young Black Men, had Big Dreams. I got older, & realized, we fall short of many of them. That falling short—is not all together bad. We must have drive & courage to get off our backs when we get knocked down. If we can look up, even on our backs, we can get up.
Try not to fall on your face.
You can’t see the sunshine in the dirt, face down.
We must take note of how we got knocked on our backs.
Use everything as a learning experience.
Lets keep pushing, learning, & reaching for the sun.
